In private correspondence with Dr Paul Prueitt it has come to light that
certain statements he made about me in this forum last week that
appeared to question my integrity were based on a case of mistaken
identity. Dr Preuitt has apologized for his error, and I appreciate his
candid acknowledgement of it. My own responses to him on this list last
week were in any case needlessly unkind, which I regret. It is
unfortunate things escalated unnecessarily as they did; my apologies to
the list members for my part in that. (01)
