Thus far, the discussions have been posted to the general list. When

At this point we haven't discussed treating biodiversity per se,
though the UMLS should provide a good anchor for the biology concepts.
Deanne DiPietro, from the Sonoma Ecology center, has an interest in
biodiversity classifications, but she was too busy recently to take
time for this project. Perhaps she will find time later. The
"restricted" task we are discussing, of formalizing the UMLS-SN, and
top levels of FEA-RMO and DoD Core taxonomy, are, I suspect already too
much for a volunteer group. But if there is any room for more work, or
in the next phase, biodiversity would be a good topic, I think. (014)
I'm really glad you will be participating (with little time, I am
sure). Your perspective is one that we don't have anywhere else in the
