We have a Wiki to collect and organize such information at http://colab.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?CommonUpperOntologyWG.

 

It is available for us to flesh out and populate a framework to add in the information below plus the other information brought out through are listserv discussion at http://colab.cim3.net/forum//ontac-forum/2005-10/index.html.

 

As discussed on Oct 5^th, I’ll begin to pull some of the information out of the Archive and put it into the Wiki.

At our kick off meeting we discussed an action to assemble a list of candidate ontologies.  There have been a few mentioned in the various posting, but I'm not sure that anyone is collecting a list. 

 

There is a paper (Ding & Fensel) called Ontology Library Systems: The key to successful Ontology Re-use  - a copy at http://www.uibk.ac.at/~c703205/download/ontologylibrary_camera.pdf

 

I don't think this is up to date, but it discusses managing a collections onf ontologies and one could look at the lattices for these.
