SICoP Members,

        The SICoP subgroup  'Common Upper Ontolotgy WG' is changing its name (and focus) to 'Cross Domain Semantic Interoperability WG.'  This new name focuses on the objective as opposed to one candidate solution.

        The new wiki site is at http://www.visualknowledge.com/wiki/CDSI.  Please visit and login to join the working group.  All are welcome.

        Please join us for a kick-off teleconference at Monday Nov 13th,  11:300-12:30 EST.  Dial (319) 632-1100 and enter Access Code: 484206

        The mission statement reads:

                To make the case that current technology cannot achieve Cross Domain Semantic Interoperability.
                To organize and seek resources for multiple independent projects to mature and demonstrate the technologies to enable semantic interoperability between Domains, Communities of Interest (COI), or any independently developed systems.

        A list of specific projects is found on the web site.

        All are welcome, so please join us for the teleconference, subscribe to the discussion list, and visit/login into the web site.
