Eliot, (03)
Sorry, but I need to ask the basics ... How do you define the NGEA?
Maybe it's just a terminology thing ... Is it what you're referring to
when we describe the overarching concept of NSDI/geodata.gov/FGDC
standards/geo policies and how they all interact and interrelate? (04)
Maybe change the last bullet to read: "How the profile will help you
address geospatial issues within the FEA Reference Models" (05)
Thanks!

A session on "Using Enterprise Records Management and Geospatial
Profiles"
is planned for September 20 during the 5th Enterprise Architecture
Conference & Exhibition, September 19-21, 2005 at the Ronald Reagan
Building in Washington, DC (
http://www.e-gov.com/events/2005/ea/index.asp ). (010)
I am scheduled to present the National Geospatial Enterprise
Architecture
(NGEA) and I've drafted the following "learning objectives": (011)
What Attendees Will Learn:
- What are current requirements of Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDIs)
under law and policy
- Why the National Geospatial Enterprise Architecture spans all sectors
and
government levels
- How Enterprise Architectures should leverage geospatial holdings and
interoperable services
- How geospatial should be addressed in the Federal Enterprise
Architecture
Reference Models (012)
What do you think? (013)
