Reviewer Comment: While this is a respected source, as this is definition is for "business people" recommend some liberties to improve clarity should be taken to address this audience. I don't believe "data set" has much context and as the technical definition suggests there is a graphical aspect... I propose an adaptation of the definition for consideration. (2X0P)

The structure of a database system, described in a formal language supported by the database management system (DBMS). In a relational database, the schema defines the tables, the fields in each table, and the relationships between fields and tables. Schemas are generally stored in a data dictionary.
