Mary McCaffery    (81W)

Mary McCaffery currently serves as the Senior Advisor to the Chief Information Officer of the US Environmental Protection Agency and as such, helps guide the Agencies three leading information initiatives: Environmental indicators, the National Environmental Information Exchange Network and a comprehensive design ( Enterprise Architecture) for EPA information systems. Currently, Ms. McCaffery works in support of the CIO Council's Architecture and Infrastructure Committees projects for enterprise architecture.    (2LUM)

With over 30 years in public service at local, state and federal levels, Mary has held senior positions, among them, in the White House as the Assistant to the Director of Reform 88 , as Environmental Advisor to US Senate Appropriations Committee, Director for Operations in the EPA's International Office, and internationally as a consultant for the United Nations. For the past 7 years, Ms. McCaffery has been involved in harnessing information technology to implement a national cohesive but locally accessible network of environmental information.    (92N)
