John Doesburg is the Director of Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Homeland Security Programs and Director of the University of Tennessee – Oak Ridge National Laboratory Center for Homeland Security and Counter-Proliferation.    (37SA)

John came to ORNL in November 2004 after a distinguished career in the U.S. Army. He retired as a Major General, holding consecutive positions of Commanding General of the U.S. Army Chemical and Biological Defense Command, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command, culminating his career as the Commanding General of the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command. John served as the Army’s senior Chemical Officer and senior Uniformed Army Scientist. He is trained as a chemist and the recipient of numerous military awards and decorations.    (37SB)
