He has taught human learning and cognition & problems solving courses at the University of Delaware, GW & GMU. Since 1975 he has consulted to health and medical facilities to evaluate and improve medical functioning and manage medical knowledge. Major thrusts of work include reusable knowledge, vocabularies and semantic interoperability achieved through ontological analysis. (42CM)
For the last 7 years he has focused on the semantics of Enterprise Architecture and SOA models. Since 2005 he has been an active member of SICoP and facilitates workshop meetings including the June session on geospatial ontology that lead to the creation of a spatial community of practice (SOCoP).
