Donna Scholz [pronounced SCHOLTZ] is the Project Manager for Geospatial One-Stop, one of the 24 eGov initiatives in the President's Management Agenda. (92E)
Donna has worked for the Department of the Interior since 1980 when she started out in GIS and remote sensing at the EROS Data Center in Sioux Falls, SD. She led the Data Center's GIS R&D team for five years. After more than a dozen years at EROS--and as many hard cold winters--, Donna accepted a position at the USGS Headquarters office in Reston, VA. There, she brought her extensive field applications experience to lead the development of enterprise approaches to IT operations and networking, IT security, and Departmental IT policy. (92F)
She has been with the Federal Geographic Data Committee Secretariat and Geospatial One-Stop since October 2003. Her focus is two-fold: on partnerships with Local, State and Federal government agencies, and on the management and operation of the GOS Portal. (93G)
