- Comment: Is the DRM-I consistent or not with proposed Search Interoperability Requirements? How do the three DRM Volumes II-IV fit or not fit with the “Statement of Requirements for Search Interoperability” (see http://www.search.gov/interop/requirements.html) proposed by the Federal Interagency Committee on Government Information? The Committee’s work was mandated by the E-Government Act of 2002, Section 207, "Accessibility, Usability, And Preservation Of Government Information," which requires the Government to enhance search interoperability by adopting a common standard. - Comment: This exhibit provides a solid overview of relevant Federal standards for security. It should also include OMB Circular A-130 as well. The DRM should provide a similar exhibit for appropriate Federal law, regulation and guidance related to E-Gov, data exchange, data quality, etc. It should also include key VCS specifications such as ISO11179 and ISO 15000-5. The related briefing tends to blend voluntary consensus standards bodies (VCS), specific standards and specifications, and government initiatives. These entities are worth discussing individually within the DRM. OMB Circular A-119 should be included within this discussion. (agency comment / compiled 2004.12.06) (2LVZ)
