Brian Tieman Beamline Controls and Data Acquisition Advanced Photon Source (3YZP)
I am a Software Engineer developing a broad range of software applications and systems to make more efficient use of the facilities at Argonne's Advanced Photon Source. My interests and activities range from development of data acquisition software to parallel data reduction algorithms to data visualization but my driving interest is in the integration of all aspects of scientific software into a single, well integrated, dashboard. This interest has led me to service oriented architectures and a fruitful collaboration with the several members of the Globus Project from Argonne's Mathermatics and Computer Science Division. (3YZQ)
