Education (3NLV)
- Biomedical Research Learning Center: The animal rights movement is a social trend that has become increasingly visible since the early 1990s. The effects could negatively impact biomedical research supported by the NIH. Whyville can be used to create a virtual learning center where children can discover what NIH is doing to protect animals used in research and to illustrate the importance of animal subjects in advancing biomedical research. This idea was suggested by Jim Angus at the NIH. (3NLW)
