One of the biggest challenges facing Enterprise Architecture is ensuring that it is appropriately integrated into the decision making processes of the other management disciplines with which it intersects - strategic planning, capital planning, procurement, budgeting, and security are but a few examples.    (3XWJ)

During a recent Quarterly Enterprise Architecture – Shared Interest Group meeting a panel of experts was brought together to identify the major issues that must be addressed to achieve that integration. They identified three major issues:    (3XWK)

Use EA to describe major business/IT initiatives and the relationships between the initiatives    (3XWL)

Establish a results oriented value proposition for EA, and    (3XWM)

Create actionable information for critical management decisions and strategic direction.    (3XWN)

This symposium will bring subject matter experts to the table to focus on these issues.    (3XWO)

ArchitecturePlus is a free event that is open to both public and private sector. Anyone involved in or has an interest in Enterprise Architecture is invited to attend.    (3XWP)
