Adam Pease    (7X)

Adam Pease is a consultant advising clients and conducting research in ontology, natural language understanding and formal reasoning. He was formerly Director of Knowledge Systems at Teknowledge, where he and his team participated in the DARPA Agent Markup Language, DARPA Rapid Knowledge Formation, DARPA High Performance Knowledge Bases and IEEE Standard Upper Ontology projects. He has led development of the Suggested Upper Merged Ontology (SUMO). Adam has also worked at the NASA Ames Research Center, and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center. He is the principal author of the chapter "Knowledge Bases" in the Wiley Encyclopedia of Software Engineering and over 30 other papers.
