Dear WTKN members, (01)
Amanda would like to join next month's conference call since she
couldn't make it today. In the meantime, I can clarify a couple of
things about NTL's Digital Repository that came up today. (02)
NTL does intend to collect documents such as financial reports, state
DOT planning documents/statewide plans, and reports of studies performed
by local MPOs or COGs. The intent is that the digital repository will be
a place where you can find items like those and other "gray literature." (03)
There is a procedure in place so that any document submitted to NTL
automatically gets submitted to TRIS. Each month, NTL sends TRB a list
of documents submitted to the repository and TRB's staff select any
documents on the list that are within their scope for inclusion in TRIS. (04)
I've passed on all of your questions to Amanda and she'll address them
in the February meeting. (05)
