Hi all --

Hopefully this email will meet your approval. I thought this might be the best place to let you all know that ZapThink and David Linthicum (both who keynoted the SOA for eGov conferences in the past years) are running a one-day seminar focused specifically on Practical SOA for Federal Government on April 26, 2007 in Tysons Corner, VA. The goal of this event is to present *specific* and *real-world* SOA guidance and advice based on the latest that we've seen in the market for SOA.

I would love to find a way to tie in our activities more closely with the eGov / SOA CoP folks. If you want to talk about how to make that happen, please let me know.

Eric Newcomer on Why We Need SO Tooling: SOA Tools Platform Project at Eclipse, working together with IBM, Sybase, and others to create tooling better suited for SOA than tools based on UML and MDA.
