as long as it is volunteers who are the only ones who can participate, the
mess at the US Federal CIO Council will continue.    (01)

First because only those whose jobs are already being paid for by overhead
from massive US IT procurements have the technical capability and the time
to volunteer.    (02)

Does anyone disagree with this claim?    (03)

So we have a type of fraud in this notion of the volunteer, one perfected by
the IT standards committees; whose work product includes somewhere some
value - but that value cannot be easily seen due to the mass confusion and
hidden interests.    (04)

Why does George not have the people to do this type of critical work? Is
SOA so not valuable?    (05)

Motivation, Cory, has to be talked about here..... because here is where
the motivation is carrying the SOA standards and work into stupidity. SOA,
like Java and all other IT advancements is in poorer shape after a few years
than when it is first started.    (06)

The US government work with SOA has become a case study of private interests
pillaging the government, with permission from the government, via actions
that are behaviorally designed to make real competition a distant concept.    (07)

If this is work worth doing they why not have the funds to put together a
team that has real objective skill and the ability to NOT work on
maintaining the insider control of the future IT contracts.    (08)

When will the American People find an ability to take action on these class
of institutional problems?    (09)
