GSA's Office of Technology Strategy and the CIO Council's IT Workforce
Committee are pleased to offer you the opportunity to interact with top
government IT experts. Anyone working on IT projects, is invited to
this upcoming free forum on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 from 1:30 - 4:30 pm
in the GSA Auditorium at 1800 F St., NW, Washington, DC. Our topic this
quarter is Designing for Survivability.Join an insightful presentation
led by Tom Lockwood, DHS's Director of the Office of National Capital

processes) are being implemented with public and private first responder
and response support efforts. You will learn the most current
approaches to integrating people, systems and things, and how to relate
your strategies to existing frameworks and external partners to
strengthen your systems and operations.    (013)

An expert panel from the office of National Capitol Region Coordination
will discuss critical strategic aspects of applying identity
credentialing (Real ID Act and FIPS 201), open architecture and key
emergency support functions. They will discuss their approach to the
interoperability and integration of IT systems and networks, day to day
operations of data interactions, meta data fusion and other key issues
of continuity of operations. This forum isn't just for COOP personnel.
It's for anyone working on IT projects who wants to learn!    (014)
