Hi EPIC,
I can't attend all of this event, due to a direct conflict with a mandatory meeting for most of the time-frame, but please do participate if you can!
EPIC has been strategizing next steps due to recent CIOC restructuring, and we are thinking a collaborative event focused on standards implementation and involving several standards communities and local professional organizations focusing on standards and best practice implementation is a good potential next step.
I also attach the recently release "Architecture Principles for the US Government".  Please look in particular at the third principle regarding Collaboration and Standards.  This is where we fit in ... ensuring implementation of standards-based best practices across government ... and educating folks regarding what that means ... and collaborating across government, industry, and internationally.  (as stated in EPIC charter)
Thanks all ....
Linda
