Just a reminder that NASCIO’s Enterprise Architecture Committee, in collaboration with its Corporate Leadership Council (CLC), will host a series of webinars on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), which is highly anticipated as a powerful technology innovation that can enable the "agile enterprise."

We have already received many registrations for NASCIO's SOA Webinar series, which will feature informative sessions presented by NASCIO's corporate partners and will deliver expertise to state government architecture teams by presenting case studies and perspectives on the scope and potential impact of SOA initiatives.

Join us for this series on SOA. If you have already registered for one or more of the sessions, there is no need to respond. You will receive an email reminder with instructions ahead of your scheduled session(s).

NASCIO's SOA Webinar topics include:

  • SOA as a philosophy, discipline, and technology;
  • loose coupling;
  • web services;
  • XML vocabularies;
  • building centers of excellence;
  • establishing an SOA roadmap;
  • enterprise service bus;
  • open standards;
  • and how SOA allows for sharing GIS capabilities.
