Ira, pass this along as appropriate. Basically, given the new EA
maturity expectations of OMB and GAO,, we have to focus internally and
respectfully want to pass on the opportunity to participate in this
activity “Enterprise Architecture Management Guide and Call for Authors”

We do however offer the below comments.

    Subject: CMS Control # OEI-06-000-2839

John:

We have reviewed the document and responded to the questions. The
following email answers the questions in the format requested in Ira's
email.
Bottom line, it's a nice idea, but a lot of information to pull into one
guide. By the time it is published, the information would probably need
updating.

In response to your request to Review the Outline of the Enterprise
Architecture Management Guide and Call for Authors, an EPA EA
representative has reviewed the outline and answered your questions as
follows:

1. Ingrid Rosencrantz
2. EPA/OEI/OTOP/MISD/EA Team
3. Yes
4.    From the outline, the content appears to be very thorough;
however, I would suggest that the information be presented in a text
annotated outline to better explain the purpose of each major
section, and then describe the sub-section. Additionally, the topics
are covered in such a thorough manner which could result in too much
information, and jeopardize the intent and use of the guide.
5. No
6. n/a

Regards,
John Sullivan
Chief Architect, EPA
