Greetings all:

 

    I am pleased to announce the release of the OMB Enterprise Architecture Assessment Framework 2.0 (attached).  Special thanks to the CIO Council's Architecture and Infrastructure Committee (AIC), Chief Architects Forum (CAF) and the participating agencies for their comments and inputs.  The purpose of this Framework is to focus agency attention on completing and using its EA to realize tangible performance results toward achieving agency mission.  We encourage you to use this Framework to assess your agency's EA practice on all three dimensions: Completion, Use and Results.  

    Please note, OMB will use this Framework for the Second Quarter (March, 2006) EA assessment, and will apply the results toward the President's Management Agenda E-Gov score. 

    Please notify the FEA Program Management Office (FEA PMO) if you have  further questions.
